Editing Predefined Templates

Overview:
HoopoTrack provides 8 ready-to-use templates (Phone Repair, 3D Print, Tailor, PC Build, Detailing, Bike, Jewelry, Print Shop). You can use them as-is or customize them to better match your workflow.

✏️ How to Edit a Predefined Template

1. Go to the Templates section

2. Find a predefined template and click “Edit” or “Duplicate”

3. You can now:

   • Rename the template

   • Add/remove/reorder statuses

   • Update duration estimates

   • Change notification flags

   • Modify default notes for each status

4. Save the changes — your custom version will be saved separately

🧠 The original template stays untouched, so you can always start over or duplicate again.

🔔 Customizing Statuses

Each status in a template has:

• A name (e.g., “Waiting for Approval”)

• A toggle: Notify customer (email will be sent if enabled)

• A default ETA (e.g., 1 day)

• A default message (optional — shown on the customer view)

🔁 When to Customize

• Your shop skips or adds steps (e.g., “Disinfection” step after repairs)

• You prefer different terms (e.g., “At Workshop” instead of “In Progress”)

• You want full control over notifications and notes

🛠 Example

The predefined “Tailor” template says:
“Received → In Progress → Fitting → Ready”

You edit it to:
“Order Received → Cutting Fabric → Sewing → Ironing → Ready for Pickup”
