Overview:
PIN protection adds a layer of privacy to customer-facing pages — like individual ticket tracking pages or the public queue dashboard. It’s optional, but helpful in shops where screens are visible or links might be shared.

🔒 PIN Protection for Tracking Links Why Use It?
  • Prevents anyone with the link from viewing ticket info

  • Useful in sensitive cases: repairs, confidential work, or repeat customers

How to Enable
  1. When creating or editing a ticket, you’ll see an option:
“Protect this ticket with a PIN”

  2. Enter a 4-digit numeric PIN (e.g., 2581)

  3. Save the ticket — the customer will now be asked to enter this PIN when opening the tracking page

Customer Experience
  • The tracking link still works, but shows a PIN prompt first

  • They must enter the correct code to unlock the status page

🖥️ PIN Protection for Public Queue Dashboards Why Use It?
  • If your TV/monitor screen is publicly accessible, this prevents customers or competitors from seeing the queue unless authorized

How to Enable
  1. Go to your business settings

  2. Enable: “Protect Public Dashboard with a PIN”

  3. Choose a 4-digit PIN

  4. When someone opens your dashboard URL, they’ll need the PIN to view it

🔁 You Can Change or Remove the PIN Anytime
  • For any ticket, edit → update or remove the PIN

  • For dashboards, update the PIN in your settings
